Summary of the chapter 3
When a baby called Gabriel arrives at the family, Lily notices that the baby as the same unusual eye color as Jonas, wich are pale. In the community almost every citizens have dark eyes. But there are a few exceptions: Jonas and a female Five.
Lily want to be a Birthmother because she thinks newchildren are so cute. But her parents do not want because a Birthmother gives life at three children and then they are Loborers for the rest of their adult lives.
After that Jonas remembered a memory wich he was with Asher during the recreation period and they trew an apple at each other when suddenly, through the air the apple has changed. But when it returned back in Jonas' hands it was the same apple.
